Due to the instability created by the March 21st coup in Mali, we regret to announce that we have temporarily suspended our program implementation in Mali.
Like many international agencies, we have made this difficult decision with the safety and security of our staff and their families, our incredible volunteers and the children of Mali, at top of mind.
We continue to work closely with our colleagues and partners in Mali to monitor conditions there. While we are encouraged by the progress made in recent weeks, the situation is still very unstable.
Right To Play remains committed to using the transformative power of sport and play to educate and empower children facing adversity, and will resume programming as soon as the security situation permits.
Our thoughts are with the people of Mali as we hope for a return to peace and stability in their country.
