Dennis Lepholtz joined Right To Play in October 2005 as Chief Financial Officer. As a member of the Executive Team, Dennis is responsible for the management of all aspects of Right To Play International’s finances including direction and management of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls and cash management. He is also responsible for the oversight of Right To Play’s Information Technology department.
Dennis brings with him over 20 years of senior management experience in both public and private companies. Prior to joining Right To Play, Dennis spent six years as CFO of an international cargo air carrier. He was responsible for aircraft and corporate financing, investor relations, financial reporting, human resources and administration. Previously, Dennis was an owner and CFO of World of Vacations Ltd., an international tour operator. This company was the product of a management buy-out of Canadian Holidays (a subsidiary of Canadian Airlines) by its senior management team. At Canadian Holidays, Dennis managed the acquisition and the integration of four tour companies over a five year period to create Canada’s largest tour operator. His responsibilities included all financial, administrative and human resource functions, including Corporate Secretary. His other international work experience includes internal audit work for Canadian Pacific Airlines throughout their worldwide operations in North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
Dennis is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and BC. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce from Simon Fraser University in BC.
