DR. LORNA READ 
Vice President, International Programs

Lorna Read is an expert in her field, with 15 years of dedication to international development. Her experience ranges from direction of research and development projects in Chile, consultancy for Canadian Embassies, UNICEF, INSTRAW and MacArthur Foundation, as well as Adjunct Faculty positions in a number of universities. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University, with a concentration in Latin American Political and Socio-Economic Development.  She also has a Master’s degree in International Development Studies.  Dr. Read has been published widely, and frequently speaks about Sport for Development and the impact of Right To Play’s work at conferences and seminars throughout North America, Europe and Africa.
