On New Year’s Eve, tennis superstar Petra Kvitova rang in 2015 with a special announcement: "I am so excited to be a Global Ambassador for Right To Play," says Kvitova, a two-time Wimbledon champion. "It is a charity whose work I really believe in—giving children the opportunity to learn through sport is a cause that's very close to my heart." The Czech tennis star participated in our educational, play-based programs on the Blue Pitch at Chelsea's Soccer School in Hong Kong on December 31, 2014 prior to the announcement. "Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children is something I will always remember."

In 2015 ahead of the Rogers Cup in Toronto, Petra put her tennis skills to a different use by hosting an introductory camp for youth in Right To Play’s Promoting Life-Skills In Aboriginal Youth program from the Chippewa’s of Nawash. Youth were able to learn valuable life skills and take away some tennis skills at the same time.
