At World Championships, he has so far collected a total of three gold, four silver and two bronze medals and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, he cheered together with his teammates also on gold. The World Cup season 2015/2016 brought him his best ever result in the Four Hills Tournament with the second place.

"I decided to become an ambassador for Right To Play because I know from my own experience how important sport and play are for your own development. To give disadvantaged children the chance to participate in the Right To Play games and sports programs, thereby enabling them to take their future into their own hands, to give them a brighter future, is certainly worthwhile."
