Featured Partner

The LEGO Foundation

Founded in 1986, The LEGO Foundation believes that learning through play is key to building a future where children are empowered to become creative, engaged, life-long learners. Their philosophy is shared by Right To Play and since 2015, the two organizations have joined forces to help re-define quality learning through the power of play for children and youth through the power of play in Mozambique, Tanzania and Rwanda. This three-year partnership strives to integrate play-based teaching methodologies into schools to better support children's cognitive and life skills development. The efforts will improve children's educational outcomes and provide them with the tools to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

IKEA Foundation

IKEA Foundation is working toward a world where children living in poverty have more opportunities to create a better future for themselves and their families. Our mission is to create substantial and lasting change by funding holistic, long-term programmes in developing countries that address children’s fundamental needs: home, health, education, and sustainable family income. Right To Play and Ikea Foundation have launched a new project to address the challenges faced by children and youth in refugee camps Dollo Ado, Ethiopia. This ambitious three-year project will support 40,000 children and youth to access education and recreational services in five camps.
