This June, Right To Play was the charity of choice for a number of unique and action-packed fundraising events hosted by our Corporate Sponsors!
On June 9th, Totum Life Science held their 4th annual Totum Olympics! This amazing day spanned across each of their fitness clubs and challenged both adults and children to complete a number of circuits and achieve their exercise goals. Totum Olympics surpassed their target of $20 000, fundraising a grand total of $22,464 to date!
Right To Play’s long-time National Corporate Partner, IAMGOLD Corporation, held their first annual 2012 Charity Golf Classic in support of Right To Play on June 12th. A total of 36 foursomes came out for a fun filled day at Eagles Nest Golf Club. The rain blew over and the day raised an incredible $150 000! Stay tuned for next years’ tournament date.
Finally, on June 15th, KPMG held their 4th annual Goals For Charity event with all proceeds donated to Right To Play. Ten mining companies came out to battle it out on the Polson Pier soccer field. Check out a picture of this year’s winners, Kinross Gold Corporation, below.
