Student athletes have experienced the power of sport and its ability to build essential life skills such as self-esteem, discipline,
fair play, respect and teamwork.  As an athlete, you’re able to use your platform as a leaping off point for mobilizing fellow student athletes and students to support every child’s right to play.

Make Your Goals Count empowers student athletes to have an impact on more than just the scoreboard.

By collecting pledges in support of their on-field, on-court or on-ice successes, students will allow children around the world to share in the celebrations while raising awareness of the power of sport as a force for positive social and individual change.

This year while your school celebrates their athletes and their athletic accomplishments, why not use it as an opportunity to introduce Right To Play to them?

Some ideas include: showing a Right To Play video, sharing Right To Play stories, Right To Play themed decorations, create a Red Ball Award, hold a Balloon Raffle, offer Right To Play shirts and merchandise as awards or prizes, and 50/50 draws.

Interested in a little cross-training?  Why not get your teammates together and organize a Spin-A-Thon either outside or in a busy spot on campus.

It’s great way to keep fit, raise awareness and collect donations for Right To Play!
