More than 5,000 youth from our programs around the world are taking action in their community to foster behaviour change and educate their peers about health issues and life skills. We need your help to provide training for these youth. By hosting a fundraiser at your school, you’re contributing to providing leadership training for youth, building safe play spaces and enrolling children in weekly Right To Play educational programming.

Right To Play is a non-profit international humanitarian organization that relies on the generous support of foundations, companies, adults and students to keep our programs running. We are a registered charity that requires donations and grants to fund Right To Play programs that provide critical education and skill development for children and youth who are affected by war, poverty and disease. To continue to reach more than 720,000 children every week through our programs, Right To Play needs to raise more than $30 million each year and we can’t do it without you.

Right To Play’s goal is to maintain an 85/15 ratio in our program expense/non-program expense ratio. Which means a minimum of 85% of all funds raised go towards running our programs. We have met this target for the last number of years. However, due to the effects of the global financial crisis, we were unable to meet our goal in 2009 and 82% of the funds raised went to our programs as opposed to the standard 85%. With your schools donation we will be able to achieve our goal of devoting at least 85% of the funds to our programs and keep our fundraising and administrative costs low.
