Kevin Frey joins as head of international organization; founding ceo johann koss transitions into new role
TORONTO, CANADA (August 4, 2015) – Right To Play is thrilled to announce Kevin Frey as the organization's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 4, 2015. Frey is the first new CEO to join Right To Play since its inception in 2000 by founding CEO Johann Koss.

"He has a passion for Sport for Development, and his strong background in business, entrepreneurship, education and scaling organizations make him a perfect fit to help us achieve our goal of doubling Right To Play's reach in the next three years."
Frey joins Right To Play from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, where he was Managing Director of the flagship MBA program. Prior to Rotman, he held a number of roles with the University of Toronto, including Chief Business Development Officer and Director, Business Development and International Programs. Frey is also Founder and Chairman of Teach Away Inc., one of the world's largest teacher recruitment firms, and co-founder of e-learning companies, Skooli and LearnKit.com.

Outgoing Right To Play President and CEO Koss will transition into a formal role as the organization's Founder, which will allow the four-time Olympic gold medalist to focus on fundraising, innovation and advocacy efforts, while continuing as a member of the board of directors.

Frey holds an undergraduate degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, and is finishing up his Doctorate in Business Administration at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
He is also an alum of the University of Toronto's varsity basketball team and a nationally certified Train-to-Train basketball coach.
Frey lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
