We're thrilled to share: our Founder, President and CEO Johann Olav Koss received an honorary appointment to the Order of Canada! Johann was given the distinction on Canada Day for his work in promoting sport and play as a tool for positive childhood development.
In 2000, Johann founded Right To Play based in Toronto, Canada. Our organization now operates in more than 20 countries, reaching over one million children each week. It is supported by more than 640 staff around the world and 14,400 volunteer Coaches.
This prestigious honour was established in 1967 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the Nation.
