in Jericho had some special visitors come participate in Right To Play games with them in their classroom.
Dr. Sabri Saidam, Minister of Education in the Palestinian Territories, and members of the Ministry of Education Directorate in Jericho joined other school principals from the surrounding area to witness an Integrated Learning class at Zahret Al-Mada'en School.
The visit was to help encourage incorporating sport- and play-based activities in more Palestinian schools.
"The Directorate of Education in Jericho and Right To Play have been partners for many years; this partnership has resulted in many successes, achievements and milestones," said Mr. Al-Hawash, Director of the Education Directorate in Jericho.
Last week, Right to Play received an invitation from The Ministry of Education and Higher Education to sign a cooperation agreement to support and develop the education sector.
The representatives from the Ministry witnessed firsthand how students actively engage in learning by participating in the Right To Play activities and sharing the joy of these games with the children.
"We are very proud to see the effects of sport and play activities on our children and youth, we have seen remarkable change on our children's behavior and level of participation," Mr. Al-Hawash said.
