Right To Play are very excited to announce the launch of a brand new innovation in Brighton & Hove. The Red Ball Club is a local community group designed to support Right To Play where you live and is designed to:
- Provide a uniquely supportive environment for our fundraisers and volunteers
- Provide a meaningful structure to successfully guide our supporters to achieve their goals
- Create volunteering opportunities to suit each individual
- Be governed by the individuals in the community itself
We will make sure that you are fully supported, so that you have a fulfilling and rewarding volunteer experience with Right To Play.
What the community can do for you
By being part of the Brighton & Hove Red Ball Club, you can expect:

A support network of other volunteers and RTP Core Team members to guide you when you need us

A nurturing environment in which you can meet other like-minded individuals

Role based training for projects designed to practise key skills such as management, organisation and communication
What you can do for the community
By contributing your time to any of the Community’s short-term projects, you will be contributing to a unique pool of shared knowledge and experience. You will:

Practical Experience. As a student or ex-student, or anyone looking for skills to add to a CV, the roles on offer provide opportunities for you to practise skills you have or want to have, in a structured environment.
Project Ownership. By being part of the core team, you will have a clear understanding of the contributions you make and how they have added value to the Community.
Added Social Dimension. The new scheme has been built on the fundamental principles of communities, and you will have endless opportunities to meet other volunteers; you will make lasting friends and you may even find a training partner to help motivate you!
