Thank you to our runners at the 2009 Edinburgh Marathon!

On Sunday 31st May Matt Shurlock and John Quinn managed to brave extremely difficult weather conditions and both finished in very good times on a very hot day in Edinburgh.

Matt finished in an extremely impressive 3.52, and John Quinn an equally good 3.18, despite the conditions.

We are extremely grateful for all their efforts. They both exceeded the £700 fundraising target and this means we will be able to continue our work bringing sport to vulnerable children in 23 countries.

The event this year was the toughest yet due to weather conditions that were unexpected and very difficult for runners. We are especially pleased that our runners all finished the event and are both doing well.
