Right To Play Month Start Date : March 01, 2010 End Date : March 31, 2010 Location : Various locations across the UK This year we are holding a nationwide Right To Play Month across March. We are encouraging everyone to get more involved with sport, get fit and have some fun, whilst raising awareness and funds.
With the support of BUCS, we will be asking all Universities to try and raise at least £1000 in March through any fundraising events they choose. This will help 70 young people benefit from Right To Play programmes per university or an incredible 11,000 thanks to the university sector's collective efforts. It will give students the opportunity to get involved with charity work and volunteering, and the University that raises the most money will be rewarded.
As well as holding fundraising events, you can donate online at www.justgiving.com/Right-To-Play-Month. Please click on the link and donate £1 to recognise your right to get involved in sport and play. Just £1 will help disadvantaged children around the world to do the same. | Norway Dog Sledding Challenge Start Date : March 08, 2010 End Date : March 14, 2010 Location : For most people the ‘Big Freeze’ and the Winter Olympics was enough snow for this winter, but not for one brave Right To Play supporter Sabine Diederichs.
