Right To Play would like to thank all of our sports partners, Chelsea F.C., Specialized, Harlequins Rugby Club and the Lawn Tennis Association, who not only supplied prizes for a gift of play prize draw but promoted the campaign to their networks and supporters.

Anne Immelman, Marketing Manager at Specialized UK said; “Knowing that over 1250 children will get Right To Play’s help this year warms our heart and motivates us to push on and get even more people to support Right To Play.”

Not only did members of the public donate gifts of play, but the concept of giving a child the gift of play inspired the staff of our corporate partners, Bain Capital and ATOS Origin to make significant additional donations.

Right To Play programmes help disadvantaged children to develop vital life skills, giving them a chance to build a brighter future and enjoy their childhood through accessing sport and play activities. Children in Ghana learnt essential lessons around health and disease awareness through our games, read more about this here.

Cases like the one above are only possible with the help from our supporters, so thank you to every individual and organisation who has helped Right To Play change so many young lives this year.

A random draw has decided the winners of the gift of play draw and the winners will be contacted shortly.

Leo Matlock, Partnerships Manager at Right To Play said; “It has been fantastic to co-ordinate the support of our brilliant team of sports partners here in the UK into the Gifts Of Play Campaign. Their endorsement, resource and promotion were vital in enabling us to change so many lives around the world.  We are proud to count Chelsea FC, Specialized, Harlequins Rugby Club and the LTA as sports partners of Right To Play and are looking forward to working with them throughout 2012, which will undoubtedly be a landmark year for sport and Right To Play in the UK.”
