"As a hockey player you gain a number of attributes, some of which are dedication, time management, discipline to training, working in a pressured environment. The work that Right To Play does offers children in the developing world the chance to learn these skills and I fully support their work."

Crista Cullen grew up on the shores of the Indian Ocean in East Africa. From an early age, she was eager to partake in every water and beach sport that was available, and with her schooling career came about the introduction of hockey. Through the game, she has made lifelong friendships, developed teamwork, and a unique desire to win.
With over 150 caps for England and Great Britain Crista is a central figure to a team that is breaking through the international elite to challenge for world titles. Crista was nominated for the world X1 All Star team in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011 by the International Hockey Federation. |
Having competed at the highest level for quite some time she helped guide team GB to a 6th place finish at the Beijing Olympics and has won medals at the World Cup, European Cup and Commonwealth Games.
