Dan joined us as an Athlete Ambassador in April 2007.

He currently plays rugby union for London Wasps and is one of the stars of the English Premiership and the European game.

Born in New Zealand, of Samoan heritage, at the age of 18 Dan moved to Australia and joined Sunnybank Rugby Club in Brisbane, and was subsequently signed by the Queensland Reds Super 14 team.

Dan made his international debut in 2005 for Manu Samoa against Australia. He has already amassed 12 caps for Samoa, as well as 3 caps representing the Pacific Islands.

He moved to England and joined Wasps in January of 2006, and in only 16 months has already won the Powergen Cup with Wasps, and in May this year was part of the team that were crowned the European Champions.

His powerful displays have marked him out as one of the Premiership’s best players, and his distinctive haircuts have also made him one of the most recognisable.
