Rebecca's interest in working for development and young people came about through years of living and working in different countries. She first used sport to work with young people in Tanzania as an immediate way to communicate and teach English, and has since taught in Romania, Maldives, Cuba and the UK. Rebecca's believes sport is an international medium of communication, wherever you are in the world, and it has the ability to inspire and motivate children even when you don’t have a language in common.

Rebecca joined Right To Play as Events Manager in December 2008 after working for a number of different charities including SOS Children and Cancer Research UK.
