Nahed joined Right to Play as a Country Director for Palestine in September 2022. Prior to taking up this role, she had worked with international, regional and local NGOs such as Mercy Corps, PACES and MIFTAH. Nahed has extensive experience in development programs aimed at empowering children, youth and women. In these roles and especially in the past 10 years, Nahed gained valuable experience in donor relations, team leadership, mentoring and management, program design and development, fostering partnerships and ensuring operational excellence and viability.

Nahed is passionate about working on programs that are particularly targeting marginalized children, as she believes that living in a safe, happier, and more just world requires creating a sound, just and healthy environment for all the children all over the world.

Nahed has two master’s degrees, one in Environmental Communication and Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Science- Sweden, and another in International Relations from Bir Zeit University- Palestine, and a BA in English literature for the same University.
